The Barong bolo (sometimes called barang) is a traditional short sword or large knife associated with the Tausug, Yakan, and other Moro peoples of Mindanao. Its leaf-shaped blade, wider in the middle and tapering at both ends, makes it a devastating cutter with natural weight behind each strike.
